What is a VIRTUAL ASSISTANT?

According to Merriam Webster's, an assistant is a person who gives support or aid. Add the fact that this person is able to do so remotely, using the latest in technology and communications, and you have a virtual assistant.

On average, VA's charge between $20 and $50 per hour for their services with the exact amount being contingent on the service requested. When you request a proposal from a VA, their response should include a cost breakdown which will explain the rates specific to the service(s) that you have requested.
